From the time I was a child, I was always drawing and painting—slipping into that quiet, dreamlike state where time slows down and the world falls away. Creating art has always been my escape, my reverie, and even now I enter that same flow every time I pick up a brush.

 

Much of my work is born from imagination: luminous seascapes inspired by my love of the ocean, or painted from photographs I’ve taken while traveling to beautiful, faraway places. I’m also deeply drawn to the emotional and tender qualities of figurative art, and I continue to challenge myself with portraiture—where every subtle expression teaches me something new.

 

I have a soft spot for painting pets and exotic animals as well; there is a unique bond between humans and animals, and capturing that connection on canvas is one of my greatest joys.

 

Over the years, my paintings have traveled to homes across the United States and beyond, something that continues to humble and inspire me. It is one of the greatest honors of my life to know that my work is loved, collected, and displayed in the spaces where people live, relax, and make memories.
